Most hard substrates have been coated with a sublimatable surface during the last phases of manufacture, and most are not extraordinarily porous. The amount of gas that the item can absorb depends on the coating’s thickness, which is often not a significant amount.

The print may appear irregular in quality if too much ink is used.

Sublimation ink may be evenly and gradually released across hard surfaces with Versa A4 dye sublimation paper, which often requires longer pressing times.

Size of Versa 115gsm Mug (210 x 99mm) Sheets

The pre-cut mug size (99 x 210mm) is ideal for mug transfer printing using sublimation.

Transfers can wrap around a 10oz or 11oz mug because to their 210mm length.
The paper leaves the cup handle by 10mm on either side.

Technical Specifications:

Medium weight 115gsm is readily applied to clothing and lowers the chance of curling while printing.
Versa paper has a hybrid coating called High Release (HR), which provides good ink release and makes it suited for substrates with both hard surfaces and soft surfaces.
Quick drying – in addition to providing excellent ink release, the hybrid coating dries very quickly (5-10 seconds), allowing the medium to be utilised right away without having to wait for it to cure.
Single Sided – with a watermarked backing to make the printing surface obvious

Please note that ONLY sublimation printing is permitted on these papers. They cannot be used with common ink jet inks.
