Description

Simply put, “Platinum” Premium dye sublimation paper is our greatest paper ever!

Ideal for use with sublimation ink jet printers from Ricoh and Epson.

This paper’s microporous layer enables sublimation ink to adhere as closely as possible to the surface.
As a result, when the paper is heated and pressed, almost 90% of the ink that was printed on it is released into the sublimate.

Platinum premium sublimation paper is incredibly versatile and a “all-around” paper appropriate for all sublimation printing applications since it can be used on many substrates and surfaces, including ceramic, metal, MDF, glass, and polyester fabrics.

Why do fabrics require a different sublimation paper for the best results?

The pores in fabrics are enormous.
Therefore, a lot of ink needs to be pushed into fabrics in order to change their colour.
90%+ of the ink is guaranteed to transfer into the fabric when using a High Release (HR) paper like Platinum.
As a result, the colouring is vivid, and the finish is of unmatched quality.

Which fabrics can be pressed with this paper?

All synthetic blend materials are suitable.
This paper will therefore enable you to sublimate onto;

Blends of polyester, poly, and cotton (we advise a least 65/35 blend)
Canvas/silk/linens, nylon, acrylic, spandex, PU leather, and poly

What else can this Platinum sublimation paper be used for?

Due to its instant-dry microporous covering, Platinum paper is appropriate for all sublimation surfaces, including both soft and hard substrates.

Canvas/silk/linens Ceramic Glass Wood (MDF) Acrylic Metal Polyester T-shirts Polyester

Platinum paper has excellent lay-flat qualities and a low moisture content, making it exceptionally sturdy with little curling. In contrast to many other high release (HR) sublimation papers, it also does not suffer from pinwheel or pizza wheel roller markings.

Bright, brilliant transfers with rich, deep blacks and beautiful colour with great gamut reproduction are made possible by excellent ink load.

Technical Specifications;

  • 100gsm is readily applied to clothing and less likely to creases.
