Description

Paper called “Fabric HR” has been created especially for use in fabric sublimation printing.

Ideal for use with sublimation ink jet printers from Ricoh and Epson.

This paper’s quality enables sublimation ink to adhere as closely as possible to the surface.
As a result, when the paper is heated and pressed, almost 90% of the ink that was printed on it is released into the sublimate.

Why do fabrics require a different sublimation paper for the best results?

The pores in fabrics are enormous.
Therefore, a lot of ink needs to be pushed into fabrics in order to change their colour.
90% of the ink on High Release (HR) “Fabric HR” paper gets transmitted into the cloth.
As a result, the colouring is vivid, and the finish is of unmatched quality.

Which fabrics can be pressed with this paper?

All synthetic blend materials are suitable.
This paper will therefore enable you to sublimate onto;

Blends of polyester, poly, and cotton (we advise a least 65/35 blend)
Canvas/silk/linens, nylon, acrylic, spandex, PU leather, and poly

T-shirts, pillow coverings, mouse mats, PU leather phone cases, and many other items work great with fabric HR paper.
Due to their very porous surfaces, it can also be applied to timbers that have been sublimation coated.

Please note;

Fabric HR paper is prone to curling because of its high moisture content if left outside of its packaging or in warm weather.
The papers should be kept flat, in their packet, in a cold, dry atmosphere.
This keeps the paper from curling and maintains its quality.

Technical Specifications;

• 100gsm is readily applied to clothing and less likely to creases.
  Prints should dry for 5 to 10 minutes before pressing on High Release (HR) paper since it enables for more ink to be transferred.
  Pink back on a single-sided card makes it easy to distinguish the printing surface.
