The GC-41 refillables are perfect for sublimation applications since they automatically reset without the use of a chip resetter.

A refillable cartridge (RIC) is what, exactly?

A fake cartridge that can be filled with the user’s preferred ink is known as a refillable cartridge (RIC).
It operates precisely like a standard cartridge, except when the printer signals that it is empty, you can remove the cartridge, refill it with ink, and then reinstall it in the printer.

After doing this the printer will display the cartridge as full and allow you to start printing again, therefore creating an environmentally friendly alternative.

How does it function?

An ordinary cartridge has a single-use chip that keeps track of how much of the ink has been consumed by the printer.
The printer won’t work again until it receives a new cartridge when the chip reads empty.

An auto rest chip (ARC) is installed in RICs, and it uses a unique algorithm to trick the printer into believing it is receiving a new cartridge.
Disconnecting the cartridge chip from the printer after the cartridge has been marked as empty causes the capacity to be reset back to full.
The cartridge would then be filled with ink.
The cartridge will display 100% full once more after being reinserted into the printer.
