Description
Simply put, “Platinum” Premium dye sublimation paper is our greatest paper ever!
Ideal for use with sublimation ink jet printers from Ricoh and Epson.
This paper’s microporous layer enables sublimation ink to adhere as closely as possible to the surface.
As a result, when the paper is heated and pressed, almost 90% of the ink that was printed on it is released into the sublimate.
Platinum premium sublimation paper is incredibly versatile and a “all-around” paper appropriate for all sublimation printing applications since it can be used on many substrates and surfaces, including ceramic, metal, MDF, glass, and polyester fabrics.
Why do fabrics require a different sublimation paper for the best results?
The pores in fabrics are enormous.
Therefore, a lot of ink needs to be pushed into fabrics in order to change their colour.
90%+ of the ink is guaranteed to transfer into the fabric when using a High Release (HR) paper like Platinum.
As a result, the colouring is vivid, and the finish is of unmatched quality.
Which fabrics can be pressed with this paper?
All synthetic blend materials are suitable.
This paper will therefore enable you to sublimate onto;
Blends of polyester, poly, and cotton (we advise a least 65/35 blend)
Canvas/silk/linens, nylon, acrylic, spandex, PU leather, and poly
What else can this Platinum sublimation paper be used for?
Platinum paper is suitable for all sublimation surfaces, including both soft and hard substrates, because of its instant-dry microporous coating.
Canvas/silk/linens T-shirts Polyester Ceramic Glass Wood (MDF) Acrylic Metal
Platinum paper is incredibly strong with less curling because to its outstanding lay-flat characteristics and low moisture content. It also does not experience pinwheel or pizza wheel roller markings, in contrast to many other high release (HR) sublimation papers.
Excellent ink load enables vivid, bright transfers with rich, deep blacks, exquisite colour, and exceptional gamut reproduction.
Technical Specifications;
- 100gsm is readily applied to clothing and less likely to creases.
Prints should dry for 5 to 10 minutes before pressing on High Release (HR) paper since it enables for more ink to be transferred.
Microporous coating is applied on the printed side of a single-sided product.
