Description
The print head damper cartridges may be easily and effectively primed on white ink channels with the help of DTF’s print head damper priming kit.
The set contains:
One 10ml syringe for each white ink channel, two total.
For unclipping the dampers and unscrewing the print head lid, use a 1/8′′ flat head screwdriver.
The package enables the user to prime the two white ink channels as needed and have access to the print head dampers as needed. To prevent waste, the dampers can be primed using the syringe(s) and the ink can be put back into the ink tanks. White ink channels are the only ones that require damper priming because of how white ink works.
Regular maintenance of a DTF printer is essential and print head damper priming should be part of your printers maintenance.
When the printer is not utilised over the weekend (Friday through Monday), according to our experience, damper priming is required. The white inks within the dampers can separate after 48–72 hours of inactivity. By mixing the white ink and drawing fresh ink from the ink tanks, priming the dampers ensures optimal white ink coverage and density.
Using the printer’s maintenance features built into the driver, shorter intervals can be maintained.
